Some of my best memories as a teenager was riding my bike 25 miles to the beach, yes I said 25 miles. My childhood friend and I would start out early on our bikes and ride all the way to the beach and enjoy playing in the water a good part of the day. My Dad would drive out of his way on the way home from his work and pile the bikes in to the car and take us home. I can't tell you how many days and years we did this, but it was a lot. There has never been anything more enjoyable for me than being at the ocean, in the ocean, have the sand between my toes and smell of all the salt. It still is my favorite place if I was to go anywhere, it would be to the open ocean waters.
