Christmas will be different for a few reasons, mostly Mom not being with us. And then Covid is a whole new deal. So John and I are starting a few new traditions for Christmas. The lighting of 4 candles on Christmas Eve and adding 4 prayers with the lighting of the 4 candles. After dropping off gifts to the Grandchild in the early evening. I hope to drive up and down all the lite streets, parks, and such enjoying taking a few photos and drinking some hot chocolate. Might even pack a picnic dinner and enjoy it on one of the many side roads that have stunning views. Christmas morning will be a big breakfast, talk to the kids and all the families. John and I are not planning any gifts for each other but plan to gather up a few gifts for local children and families that are in need in the area and drop off few days at the local church. I am sure we will watch movies and just have a chill day. It will be a Merry Lil Christmas for us.
