Using a surface filter and the sepia color tool, create fun and quick challenge for a weathered page effect. This challenge is being featured in the Heat Is On virtual crop, August 14, 2021.
Do you want to add some "heat" to your layout? This Start2Finish (S2F) was inspired by Lisa Ingleton, a member of the Pixie Power Committee. The title of my page is made up of 3 separate elements - 1 fancy font and 2 text boxes. With the creative tools (blend cut, temperature, glow) in Artisan, I am able to add "heat" to my title. This S2F features the blend cutter, color temperature, glow, strokes, fancy fonts and masks.
In this video we will show you a page completed from start to finish using the custom cutter, eraser and text shapes to make a stand out photo border.
Overlays are a great way to add texture to a layout or sometimes just “edge or outline” the layout. If I have finished a layout and I feel like it just “needs a little something” usually an overlay with an edge will complete the page. Most overlays are square. So, if you are working in a landscape project, you will want to change the aspect ratio. I am going to show you two different ways to change the ratio of a square overlay to a rectangle.
This is a fun S2F video that features creating a canvas wrap project. However, the techniques and methods shown can be used as a strip collage on any page or project. The video demonstrates how to take photos that are not similar in distance and make them look like they are similar. You will also learn how to use the blended edge cutter to create a collage of photos.
In this Start2Finish learn how to use the Facebook Travel Check-in image and photos you take while flying. When I travel, it is always fun to use Facebook’s check in feature. And then when I am up in the air, I love to take pictures looking out of the plane’s window. But I never do anything with the photos! So, on my trip to Pennsylvania I was determined to find a way to use these images.
This Bright Idea features the Blend Cutter. With two diagonal blend cuts, you will create a beautiful design element on your page. Add a few photos, title and journaling and you will complete your page quickly. As designed, this Bright Idea uses 6 photos. However, it can be customized for any amount of photos.
