Do you like the look of a mat that has a shaped edge? What about something that resembles an old fashioned doily mat for your photos? Here's a video tidbit that will get you creating these mats easily and then saving the doily mats to use over and over again!

- - Insert > Shape > Ellipse
    - Size it to 5 inches
    - Choose a color
    - Remove the stroke if it appears
    - Click Create
  - Right click on the shape > Stroke > Format
    - Click the drop down arrow in Current and choose Select a stroke from an art kit
    - Select a stroke that has elements going in a straight line such as stitching or arrows
    - Width > set to 3/8"
    - Style > choose Pattern
    - Color: Sample the color of your ellipse so the stroke will match
    - In the Stroke dialog box > scroll down to Pattern line styles > Shape > Choose a shape from an art kit > Ellipse
    - Spacing > adjust slider to 44
    - Click OK
  - If you would like to create several doily mats in different shapes, you don't need to repeat the above steps!
    - Select the completed ellipse shape
    - Copy and then paste to get a duplicate shape
    - Right click on the copy and choose > Shape
    - Select a shape from an art kit > Rectangle, heart or diamond or play with any shape found in your Built In Kits
    - Click Select Shape
    - Repeat for different shapes found in your Built In kits
  - If you want to change the spacing on the stroke, do it before the next step
    - Right click on the doily mat shape > Stroke > Format > Move the Spacing slider
    - Click OK
  - Flatten the shape
  - Want to use these shapes again and again? You'll need to save each new shape to a Personal Art Kit (see links below in the Related Offering section)
    - Right click on the shape > Save Selection > Save as image in a personal art kit
    - Scroll to the Personal Art Kit where you keep your created shapes
    - Choose the Content Type: Embellishment
    - Type in a name: Ellipse or Circle Doily Mat
    - Save as a png: (just in case you forgot to flatten before this step, the shape will automatically flatten when changed to a png file
    - Choose Save
