This Pixie Power Minute video shows a quick but effective technique for adding a diamond border to a page using the power of Artisan 5 software. Your pages will sparkle with style and creativity when you use this idea.

#### Video Notes: Notice rulers at the top and left side of the workspace - they will be used in this technique.

Go to the Insert ribbon > Shape > Rectangle.
In operations panel, make rectangle 3" wide and 12" high. Fill and stroke do not matter, although shape should not be transparent.
Click Create.
With rectangle selected, go to the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) and enter x=1 and y=0.
Right click the rectangle > Shape > Edit shape.
- Click anywhere on the right line segment of the rectangle to add a point.
- Drag the point to the left so that it touches the left line segment of the rectangle at the 6" mark (use left ruler to see this).
- Now click anywhere on the left line segment of the original rectangle to add a point.
- Drag this point to the right so that it lines up with the right side of the original rectangle (4" mark on top ruler) and at the 6" mark on the left ruler.
- Click OK.
- Fill resulting shape and stroke with color or content as desired to create a diamond border.
To add a photo to the border, go to the Insert ribbon > Empty frame.
- Select frame and go to the Content Panel > Shapes > Common > Isosceles triangle.
- Click drop down menu on the Isosceles triangle > Apply this shape to the selected element.
- Position and size the photo holder on the middle diamond of the border.
  - Right click the photo holder > Shape > Edit shape.
  - Click the bottom line segment of the triangle-shaped photo holder to add a point to it.
  - Pull point down to make a diamond-shaped photo holder.
  - Click OK.
Use the QAT to edit the stroke around the diamond border, if desired.
