FOREVER® Welcomes David Koegler as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

(PITTSBURGH)   August 2, 2022 – Forever, Inc., the permanent and complete memory-keeping company, welcomes David (Dave) Koegler as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. 

Dave brings over twenty years of finance, audit, tax, accounting, and entrepreneurial finance experience to the FOREVER team. Most recently, Dave served as Director of Fund Administration at Tecum Capital Management where he was responsible for fund accounting, compliance, investor relations, and supported ongoing fundraising efforts for both mezzanine and control equity investment platforms. 
 
“Dave was with FOREVER during the early days of our company. He is a proven financial leader, and I have collaborated with him extensively in the past,” said FOREVER Founder and CEO, Glen Meakem. “It is an absolute pleasure to welcome him back to FOREVER!”
 
Dave’s career has spanned nearly two decades in various positions throughout the Western Pennsylvania region. His impressive resume consists of financial leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer at Niche.com, completing three financing rounds, managing operational accounting, financial reporting, financial planning, and human resources. He was a Principal and Chief Financial Officer for Meakem Becker Venture Capital. Dave also held positions at FreeMarkets, Portola Packaging, Inc., Allegheny Health Education and Research Foundation, Medrad, Coopers and Lybrand, and FOREVER during the company’s inception in 2012.

Dave holds a B.A. degree from Slippery Rock University, where he graduated with highest honors and received the Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s Senior Award for Excellence in accounting studies. He earned his Certified Public Accountant license in 1995 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
